Environmental Policy
Power Testing Ltd is aware that our business activities may have an to impact on the environment, both locally and globally, we are committed to ensuring that all possible means are taken to reduce our impact on the environment.
Power Testing Ltd will undertake continual improvement in terms of environmental impact by good / best working practice and legal requirements.
In order to meet these requires the following points have now become company policy:
- All staff are to be made to feel personally responsible and encouraged to work/act in such away that we can reduce harm to the environment.
- Set KPIS to monitor environmental impact and look to improve our input.
- Assess all areas concerned and look at ways to reduce our environmental impact across the whole business function.
- We shall work within all clients Environmental Management Systems where ours are superseded;
- Maintain a record of and immediately report all environmental incidents to Management and, where relevant, clients;
- Ensure all employees are aware of the clients’ emergency procedures for environmental incidents;
- Power Testing Ltd shall comply with the requirements of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and all other UK and European legislation and ensure that tenders and subsequent contracts contain detailed specifications which comply with these requirements;
- Power Testing Ltd will ensure that particular care is taken to select material, if natural, is taken for sustainable resources; and
- Power Testing Ltd will ensure that when using any manufactured products the manufacturing processes and materials used are environmentally friends.
